Our customer Todd from Rocklin, CA purchased a used treadmill so he could participate in the 100 mile Dreadmill 48 Hour Challenge. According to the event’s site:
The Dreadmill 48 Hour Endurance Challenge is a virtual event. Any two days that you choose in December. This option is open for you to pick whenever you want to run. You have 48 hours to get as many miles possible in the timed event. You can also register for the 100-mile event that will be tracked by time not distance. This is a zero profit event so 100% of the proceeds go to the Alzheimer's Association for Alzheimer Research.
Todd wanted to be sure his machine would run efficiently for this challenge, but his treadmill was making a clicking noise that seemed to come from the front roller. It also appeared that the tread belt was not tracking properly.
Luckily, our local owner in Sacramento, Bart, was able to fix the clicking noise and track issues in no time. In preparation for Todd's attempt to complete 100 miles in 19-20 hours, Bart cleaned and tested the machine once the repairs were complete.
Check out these before, during and after photos of the challenge, completed on Todd's now fully operational treadmill.
We’re always willing to help a customer in need, and even more pleased to make a positive difference in the community. We're glad to be part of making sure his machine was as ready for the challenge as Todd was!
