Our customer in Downtown Charlotte had two pieces of equipment for our techs to assess. On our first visit, we gave diagnostic advice on a recumbent bicycle, as well as a Concept 2 PM2+ rower.
We returned for a repair visit to update the Concept 2, replacing the console, belt and pedal straps. In addition to the upgrades performed, the unit required a replacement tension because the fresh belt we installed did not allow as much slack as the old belt. It is always our goal to install each part correctly, so machine runs optimally for years to come. Both our techs and customer were pleased, as the adjustments were able to make a positive difference in the machine’s performance.
Another Downtown Charlotte customer called us to come see if we could figure out their strength training machine. They started to get it together themselves but gave up when it came time to lace cables through the pulley mechanisms. This part of assembly is important for the machine to function without error, as any misstep could endanger the safety and well-being of the user. We were able to get the cables set up properly so that the customer could enjoy a guaranteed safe and proper work out.
This Downtown Charlotte customer reached out to have their Sole brand treadmill assessed. Our techs cited need for a new walking belt and rear roller. We ordered the best quality parts and began replacement, aligning and tensioning the new belt. We also cleaned up any dust and debris hanging out in the treadmill.
Once completed, our techs had the customer listen in alongside them to inspect for noise or dysfunction. We want to ensure each customer is satisfied with the job so they don’t have to bother with us coming back out for anything other than cleaning or regular maintenance. With the new belt and roller installed and the machine cleaned, it was back to working like new!
