A customer in Clayton contacted us to take a look at their treadmill that was making a very loud, abnormal noise when in use. When we got there, we confirmed that the noise was in fact a symptom of a greater problem.
We found the walking belt was off to the left and the left bearing of the rear roller had completely fallen apart. To fix it, our customer would need a new rear roller.
Once we replaced the rear roller, lubed the belt and vacuumed under the hood, their treadmill was back to its usual working condition!
