One of our customers had an AFG elliptical that was suddenly much louder and wasn’t providing resistance like it should. When our technician opened it up to find out what was going on, they discovered the brake flywheel pully had sheared apart. Unfortunately, since the owner continued to use the machine thinking it would “work itself out”, the damaged pulley also damaged the drive belt. We replaced both parts and the elliptical is “quieter than it’s been in a long time!”
