A Day in the Life at Fitness Machines Technicians

Our technicians have an important job to do every day. They are the heart of our business—we can’t serve our customers without them!

We hung out with our technician, Bryan, for the day to see what his job was like. Keep reading to learn how he typically spends his day.

Arriving at Work in the Morning and Preparing for the Day

When our technicians arrive at work, they check their schedule to get an idea of what’s on the agenda. Then, they check the inventory to make sure they have the correct parts they need, load those into the car, and head off for the day.

Getting to the Job Site and Removing the Broken Part to Begin the Repair

After Bryan arrives at the job site, he needs to select the correct machine to repair, and begin his work. For this job, he needed to remove and replace a part that had malfunctioned.

Replacing the Part, Cleaning Up, and Customer Approval

Now, Bryan is almost ready to head to the next job for the day. He just has to install the new part, ensure it is attached safely, and have his happy customer electronically sign to confirm the repairs.

Keeping Exercise Equipment Functioning at Its Best

Another important part of the job of a Fitness Machine Technician is visiting clients who have service contracts for regularly scheduled maintenance checks. Maintaining equipment helps prevent damage that may result in costly repairs.

If you have equipment in need of repair or would like to enter a service contract with us, call 610-971-1500 or contact us online.
